Michelle
General Manager & Groomer
Michelle is the creator and co-owner of Good Dog GR. She has her Master of Accounting and Financial Management and B.S. Degree in Business Administration and Communications from Aquinas College. Michelle ran a veterinary hospital for 4-years and prior to that, had a career in marketing and sales for Fortune 500 companies. Michelle loves everything to do with animals. She is mom to her daughter Lydia, 2-dogs Enzo and Neko and 2-cats JoJo and Theo. She enjoys time with family and friends and outdoor sports.

Jeff
Supervisor & Groomer
Jeff is the co-owner of Good Dog GR. He graduated from Paragon School of Pet Grooming as a Certified Pet Groomer and Stylist. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jeff is an excellent cook and loves spending time with his family and friends. He especially likes biking, swimming, hiking, and barbecuing outdoors. Jeff is a total cat and dog lover.
Kelsey
Receptionist
Kelsey is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Psychology at Northcentral University. From a young age, she has always shown a great love for all animals. Before pursuing psychology, Kelsey obtained her Bachelor Degree in Biology/Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Calvin College with aspirations to become a veterinarian. Along with growing up with family pets, her experience with animals includes volunteering at humane societies and equest centers for therapeutic riding. Kelsey has a Miniature Pinscher named Duke and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending Michigan football games (Go Blue!), kayaking, and crafting.
Alex
Daycare Coordinator
Alex graduated from Wyoming Park High School. He joined the United States Army in December 1992 and retired from the Army on July 31, 2015. Alex started working for Good Dog in June 2022 after having worked at Camp Bow Wow in Hudsonville for 4-years. Alex loves hanging out with his Great Dane Harley and enjoys riding his motorcycle.
Rachelle
Daycare Coordinator
Rachelle earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Grand Valley State University. She has been married for twenty years, has two daughters, two dogs (Pax & Billie), two cats (Katy & Cheeto), and one grand-dog, Bleu. She believes in working hard, playing hard, and staying humble.
Ron
Daycare Counselor
Ron is recently retired after working over 30 years in the automotive industry as a Trucking/Shipping Supervisor. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his family, friends, and grandchildren. He has 3-rescue labs that he thoroughly enjoys named Bear, Bella, and Remington.

Lydia
Daycare Counselor
Lydia is a student at Rockford High School. She loves all animals. Her favorite sport is tennis, but she also enjoys other activities especially outdoors. Lydia plans to attend college after high school and continue her interest in woodworking. She has 2-dogs, Enzo and Neko, and 2-cats, JoJo and Theo.
Natalie
Daycare Counselor
Natalie is a big dog lover. She attends West Michigan Aviation Academy and plans to attend Grand Rapids Community College. She loves art, volleyball, and spending time with her friends, especially her cat Cheeto.

Bert
Bather & Daycare Counselor
Bert is a Bather and Daycare Counselor at Good Dog GR. He is the father of two children, Gena and Will, a Maltese named Ellie and a 17-year-old cat named Lucky. He graduated from Grand Valley State University. He is an avid fisherman, enjoys camping with his family and exploring new fishing areas.
Kristen
Receptionist
Kristen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Butler University. She has been a dog lover for her entire life. She enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and watching her favorite TV shows.
Jenna
Social Media Coordinator
Jenna works to elevate Good Dog GR’s social presence as the Social Media Coordinator. Jenna graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Health Communications and Advertising/Public Relations. When she’s not working, you can find her on an adventure with her 3-legged dog named Kevin. She also enjoys skiing in the winter, fishing in the summer, and going to as many live music concerts as possible.
